Real weddings in Sacramento, Roseville and across California

Photographs from real weddings, not a style guide

Nine frames, and the quiet parts in between

These are wedding photographs, not styled set pieces. An outdoor ceremony under a wooden arch dressed with greenery. Rings going on. The two of them holding hands under a flowered arch. The kiss itself, during the ceremony, while everyone is still standing. A bride with her bouquet down by a pond, the two of them again by a lake, and then the pair of them laughing back-to-back once the reception got going. That last one is the kind of frame I'm actually hunting for all day.

There's a pergola full of flowers on here too, and a dessert table of decorated cookies and roses, because someone put real work into those and they deserve a frame of their own. The rings show up twice: once going on, and once laid out on white fabric with the flowers. The details are part of the story, and they're also the part that disappears first — by the end of the night the cookies are gone and the arch is coming down.

I photograph weddings in Sacramento, Folsom, Granite Bay, Lincoln and Rocklin, and in Roseville, which is where I live. If you want to know how I work, the frames are better evidence than anything I could write here: nobody in them was told where to stand, and I was already on the ring hand before the ring went on.

How we get to your date

What arrives, and when

The gallery lands five to six weeks after the wedding — a private link, full-resolution files, yours to download. Every frame in it is finished work; there's no round of proofs to pick through first. Coverage runs from four hours up to a full ten-hour day, and the wedding collections page lays out what each one includes so you can work out which fits your timeline instead of guessing.

If the date is still a long way off, start with an engagement session — the collections, the lengths and what comes with each one are all laid out there. The part that matters on this page: the cost comes off your wedding package, and you get to find out whether you like how I work before you hand over the whole day.
