We'll talk, laugh, walk around. And somewhere in there, when you're not thinking about the camera, I'll catch something real.

Practical Details

What people want to know first

What does a portrait session include?
A short call first, so I know what you want to walk away with. Then the session — thirty minutes on The Mini, an hour on The Signature, two hours on The Editorial — and an online gallery you can download from. The Signature and The Editorial add a style consultation beforehand. If you want the whole family in frame, family sessions are set up for that.
Is a headshot the same as a portrait session?
No, the headshot is its own thing. It's $100 for thirty minutes, and you get five fully retouched images back within three days. Book that one if you need something for LinkedIn, a company bio or a speaker page. A portrait session gives you a full gallery instead of five frames, and more room to move around.
How many photos do I get, and how soon?
Twenty or more edited images from The Mini, fifty or more from The Signature, a hundred or more from The Editorial, which also includes ten fine art prints. The Mini lands within a week, the other two within two weeks, and the headshot comes back in three days. They arrive as high-resolution files in an online gallery, ready to download.
What should I wear?
Bring something you already feel good in — that matters more than anything else you could plan. Texture and layers photograph better than a flat block of color, and a loud pattern pulls the eye off your face. If you book The Signature or The Editorial, we go through it in the style consultation beforehand.
Where do we shoot?
Around Roseville, Rocklin and greater Sacramento. The Mini is one location, The Signature up to two, and The Editorial as many as we can reach in two hours. If somewhere already means something to you — a street you walk, a field you like, your own front steps — tell me on the call and we'll start there.
How far ahead should I book?
Earlier than you think, especially around milestones and seasons. Send an inquiry from the booking page and I'll come back to you within one or two business days. If the photos are for graduation, senior and grad sessions are built around that calendar, and if you just got engaged, engagement sessions are the better place to start.
